Preventative Maintenance

Annual Service Agreements

Cooltek Mechanical, Inc. offers preventative maintenance and annual service agreements for our customers to avoid costly repairs and to make sure your heating equipment and air conditioning equipment is running properly and safely. It extends the life of your equipment and lowers utility costs. Our service agreement provides you with two complete inspections per year. Once during the spring season and again during the fall season. We also provide our customers who have a service agreement a 15% discount on any repairs, if a problem should arise.

Service Agreements can be purchased for the following types of equipment:

  • Electric Heat

  • Heat Pumps

  • Gas Package Units

  • Heat Pump Package Units

  • Heating/Cooling Split Units

The following accessories can also be added to your Annual Service Agreement for an additional fee:

  • Programmable Thermostats

  • Electronic Air Cleaners

  • Condensation Pumps

  • UV Lamps

Safety & Efficiency Service Agreement

  • Inspect and Test System Control Board
    Helps detect any malfunctions that may cause equipment failure.

​

  • Inspect and Test Defrost Board and Sensors
    Helps detect any malfunctions that may cause equipment failure.

​

  • Inspect and Test Motor Capacitors
    Helps detect any malfunctions that may cause equipment failure.

​

  • Inspect Indoor and Outdoor Coils
    Clean coils maintain the efficiency of your equipment and reduce operating costs.

​

  • Lubrication of Rotating and Bearing Surfaces
    Periodic lubrication will decrease friction and prevent costly repairs.

​

  • Inspect and Test All Safety Controls
    Prevents costly repairs to equipment and helps to maintain a fail-safe system.

​

  • Inspect Blower Drivers and Assembly
    Helps maintain proper air flow.

​

  • Inspect All Temperature Controllers
    Helps maintain a true comfort zone.

​

  • Inspect and Test Electrical Motor
    Helps detect any malfunctions that may cause equipment failure.

  • Inspect Condensation Lines and Pans
    Proper drainage can eliminate mold and spores and reduce growth of bacteria.

  • Inspect and Test Heat Exchanger and Flue Pipe
    This will ensure there are no leaks or cracks which could allow carbon monoxide into the home.

  • Inspect and Test Combustion, Burner and Manifold
    This will maintain efficiency of units and ensure proper gas pressure.

​

  • Inspect Air Filters
    A dirty filter decreases air flow and the efficiency of your system. Ensuring filters are clean prevents damage to your system.

  • Inspect Refrigerant Charge
    Keeping a proper charge in your system helps maintain efficiency. Any leaks will cause high operating costs, decrease efficiency and will result in costly repairs.
